News from Around Town
Updates from the monthly meetings about what's going on around town (updated June 2):
- The Laingsburg Educational Advancement Foundation will receive $100 from the sale of each new or used car sold by Laingsburg resident Bruce Bobb of Shaheen Chevrolet. Mention LEAF or bring in one of his ads so Bruce knows why you're there!
- Sponsors are needed for the upcoming LBCA Pancake Breakfast on July 31. Contact Kevin McPhail if interested.
- LBCA donated $2,000 toward the purchase of a PA system by the DDA. The system will be used during events and to play music throughout the downtown, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.
- Pancake Breakfast is the last Saturday of July. Don't forget to make your pancake hat for the Second-Annual Pancake Hat Decorating Contest. Prizes will be given for winners in youth and adult categories.
- Farmer's Market continues to grow. More vendors will be down on Roosevelt Row as produce continues to come in.
